Today we headed off to Switzerland and sure enough it was a long ride. Along the way we had traveled through Lichtenstein which is a lot smaller than I imagined. Like a lot smaller. The city centre was clean and new and most people spoke English but that's only because most of the people there was our contiki group. It was dead. Minus the earlier group of Asians which travelled by before we got there. I tried to take out cash again and sure as hell that mofo of an ATM didn't let me. So it locked my travel card, luckily not my actual ATM card from home. Even after changing the pin number online I couldn't access my money and I had to borrow off Renata. So it wasn't too bad actually. But it felt like Paris all over again where I couldn't access my money even after entering the correct pin.
We then went into the next place which was Switzerland. We met ABBA and had lots of Swiss army knives. I mean...we had gone to the town of Luzern and had an introduction to a sculpture of a lion (which will be uploaded to Facebook soon enough). We then had a look at all the different types of Swiss army knives, watches and so on. I didn't want one because me being as organized as I am, I already have a swiss army knife on me and it's come in handy many times prior to this.
After that Sofia, Mel, Gina and myself decided to look for a chocolatier since we are in one of the homes of chocolate. Once they got their stuff we were on the hunt for a drink. Seriously it was difficult to find an iced chocolate. The closest I found was a mocha frappe and that was more of a shake and cost $7 for a normal glass. Rip off. But we had amazing views. There was a rapid going through the river and we watched as some guy just went right through it, insane.
When we went to meet up with the group so we could leave, we were told to go outside by a fountain and wait for Danny (our tour manager). Some of the guys realised that something weird was going on in the bar next to us. They were saying it looked as if it was filled with whores and their clients. So I took a look. Confirmed. Whores and old mean in a bar. Fantastic. This is exactly what I came to Europe for.
We then got to our accommodation and it was such a beautiful drive. I actually slept on this trip but the views were amazing nonetheless. There were waterfalls around us and all. It was great.
The accommodation was good. We had a gstring hanging from the light in our room. Other than that it was fine. There was a folk festival with yodeling and such which was pretty cool to see, but to be honest the cheese and bread stunk like someone shat themselves so it was best to leave. It was just a quiet night too because Swissco Disco is tomorrow night do we just went to the bar. I chatted to Mel, Sofia and Gina for a bit before that. But the best thing was when Mark picked up a slut. She had a massive tramp stamp and danced like a whore. But looked like Frankenstein. When Nick asked for the room key I said only if Mark doesn't fuck that thing in our room.
